Baltimore Eggnog

Glass: Highball  
Garnish: Cinnamon stick 

 30ml Brandy 
 30ml Rum 
 30ml Madeira 
 60ml Cream 
 1 egg 
 nutmeg dust 
 
Shake over ice in a boston. Strain into a highball, dust with the nutmeg. 

We had this last Christmas and it was a hit- it's very easy and quick to build, so you can make as little or as much as you need with no waste. It's got madeira in it, which is a sure-fire conversation starter.

Martinez

glass: Martini

garnish: why bother?

60ml Gin
30ml Red vermouth
2 dashes of maraschino
2 dashes of aromatic bitters

Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled pitcher and serve straight up in the martini glass.

Maximilian Soda

Glass: Highball
Garnish: Cherry

60ml dark rum
15ml Heering Cherry liqueur
2 dashes Grenadine
Dry Ginger Ale

Build all ingredients in an ice-filled highball, top with ginger ale and garnish with a cherry on a toothpick.

Named after the non-alcoholic version my son adores!

Piscolito

Glass: Martini
Garnish: Mandarin segment and a mint leaf

120mls Pisco
60mls cranberry juice
20mls Monin Passionfruit syrup
2 whole peeled mandarins
10 ice cubes

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend for 10 seconds.

Serves 2

Pisco Sour

Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: a dash of bitters or a sprinkle of nutmeg

120mls Pisco
30mls lime juice
30mls simple syrup
one egg white


Put all ingredients except the garnish in the blender with a handful of ice and blend until smooth.

Serves 2.

My Milkshake Brings All the Boys To The Yard

Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: no

60ml Baileys Irish Cream
90ml Milk
One Egg Yolk
A teaspoon of sugar
A dash of lemon juice
A dash of vanilla essence

Shake all ingredients over ice and serve.

"...and they're like, 'it's better than yours'..."

Pisco Jalisco

Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: 3 slices of apple on a toothpick

60mls pisco
60mls apple juice
15mls lemon juice
5mls Monin passionfruit syrup
teaspoon of orange marmalade

shake all ingredients over ice and serve in an old fashioned half full of ice. Fan 3 thin slices of apple, skewer on a toothpick and rail on the edge of the glass. Serve.

Tequila is both the name of Mexico's national drink, and a town in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
Pisco is the national drink of Peru.

The 'Jalisco' is traditionally made with Tequila, but I find Pisco much smoother, hence the 'Pisco Jalisco'
